Patek Philippe Watches & Wonders 2024 Novelties Presentation

At Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024, Patek Philippe unveiled its latest novelties, upholding generational standards of creativity and technical prowess while featuring contemporary refinements that testify to its pursuit of horological excellence. On this occasion, TKI hosted an exclusive 2024 Novelties presentation at the Patek Philippe Boutique by TKI EmQuartier, from June 14-16, 2024.

At the event, the newly launched timepieces were displayed and comprehensively presented to clients in the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the boutique. Guests had the opportunity to explore the timepieces firsthand while enjoying canapés, drinks, and gifts provided to enhance their experience.

The collections feature remarkable timepieces, led by the World Time with Date Ref. 5330G-001. This is the first time that Patek Philippe has introduced the world’s first date display synchronized with local time, set to the time zone selected at 12 o’clock. The Ref. 5330G-001 features an opaline blue-gray dial with a carbon pattern and a white gold case, paired with a blue-gray calfskin strap with a denim pattern. The timepiece is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement, Caliber 240 HU C.

Among the new arrivals, Patek Philippe has launched the Golden Ellipse with a new chain-style bracelet featuring a modern, patented construction comprising 363 parts and more than 300 links. This design allows it to curve comfortably around the wrist. It is equipped with an engraved clasp with three adjustment positions. The Golden Ellipse Ref. 5738/1R-001 offers 18k rose gold in the case and bracelet, paired with an ebony-black sunburst dial. The harmoniously proportioned case, inspired by the famous Golden Ratio, houses the ultra-thin self-winding Caliber 240, making it the thinnest watch in the collection.

Over the past few years, with a significant increase in demand for sporty models, Patek Philippe has responded by introducing more Aquanaut series watches with gold cases. For the first time, the Aquanaut Travel Time Ref. 5164G-001 is introduced in a white gold version featuring a blue-gray opaline dial adorned with the emblematic Aquanaut pattern, paired with an integrated composite strap that matches the dial. This contemporary, elegant, and casual timepiece houses the caliber 26-330 S C FUS self-winding movement with Travel Time display.

The Aquanaut Travel Time Ref. 5269R-001 was launched in a new non gem-set version in rose gold, featuring an opaline blue-gray dial and an integrated strap in matching composite material. The 38.8 mm-diameter case is enhanced by contrasting polished and satin finishes. This contemporary, casual-chic timepiece is powered by the quartz movement Caliber E23-250 S FUS 24H.

Patek Philippe introduces the Nautilus Flyback Chronograph in a new white gold version. The Nautilus Flyback Chronograph Ref. 5980/60G-001 features an opaline blue-gray dial with a horizontally embossed pattern, applied hour markers, and white gold rounded baton-type hands with a white luminescent coating. The dial’s tone matches the two provided straps, one in blue-gray calfskin with an embossed ‘denim’ motif and white stitching. Powered by the caliber CH 28-520 C/522 self-winding mechanical movement, the chronograph indications are grouped in a mono-counter at 6 o’clock.

Patek Philippe extensively introduces a wide range of calendar watches distinguished by their exterior features and particular display mode. Starting with the In-line Perpetual Calendar Ref. 5236P, which was revisited with an opaline rose-gilt dial enhanced by charcoal gray white gold hands and applied hour markers. Featuring a triple-patented display of the day, date, and month through a large single 12 o’clock aperture, the new In-line Perpetual Calendar Ref. 5236P-010 houses the ultra-thin self-winding movement caliber 31-260 PS QL.

The new Rare Handcrafts Retrograde Perpetual Calendar Ref. 5160/500R-001 is introduced as a new interpretation of the Ref. 5160/500G-001 that was launched in 2016. This exceptional model features a rose gold case and a silvery opaline gold dial, applied Breguet numerals in blackened white gold, and pear-shaped hands in black-oxidized yellow gold. The dial center, bezel, case middle, crown, hinged cover, lugs, fold-over clasp, and strap screws are adorned with delicate hand-engraved decoration composed of volutes and foliage, inspired by a pocket watch from the Patek Philippe Museum. It is equipped with the self-winding mechanical movement Caliber 26-330 S QR, which drives the display of the day, leap-year cycle, and month through openings positioned at 9, 12, and 3 o’clock.

Since its introduction in 2006, the men’s Annual Calendar Ref. 5396 has established itself as the most sought-after model. Patek Philippe is now unveiling the Annual Calendar Ref. 5396G-017, a new version in white gold featuring a blue sunburst dial with a black gradient at the rim lit discreetly by 12 baguette-cut diamond hour markers (0.26 ct). This sophisticated interplay enhances the dial’s restrained design and readability, complemented by faceted dauphine-style hands crafted in white gold and a slender sweep seconds hand. The dial color is echoed by a shiny navy-blue alligator leather strap secured by a fold-over clasp in white gold. The timepiece houses the caliber 26-330 S QA LU 24 self-winding movement.

Patek Philippe is marking the 25th anniversary of its iconic Twenty~4 ladies collection by unveiling a new version of the quartz cuff-style model, the Twenty~4 Ref. 4910/1201R-010, featuring a meticulously crafted dial with a manchette bracelet that exudes timeless elegance. The dial plate is first embossed with a concentric wave pattern, then coated with dozens of successive layers of purple lacquer, followed by translucent lacquer to create a beautiful depth effect. The distinctive rectangular two-tier case is further accentuated by two rows of 17 brilliant-cut diamonds set on both sides of the dial.
